Hello -

I'm searching at picture(s) of the P-51D Mustang nicknamed "Miss Marjorie" or "Miss Marjory".
USAAF Italy 194..

Many thanks in advance for any information about.

Raphael

do you know the fighter group in which the Mustang belonged of the US 15th AF ?

you have to check the

31st
52nd
325th
332nd fighter groups for this bird.....

do a google search for each fighter group and see what comes up

No sorry no.
A friend of mine told me about a picture existing in an old "Aircam" book. Don't have a copy...
Thanks for your info, will try with Google

for starts the 31st and 325th fg have a web-site. contact the web-masters for a question of the name and maybe they have a log of the P-51's with names. this is quite common so you may be in luck....

Hello -
to be more precise, the nickname was "Queen Marjorie"

thanks for any info
Raphael

The only Mustang with "Marjorie" that I can find is one that is called just "Marjorie", flown by Lt. Paul Burnett of the 4th FG, 334th squadron, based at Debden. The serial number was 44-72327.

If you have a pilot name or group/squadron or serial number, that would really help.

Hi evangilder
