Couldn't be a P-39, it wasn't a flat spin.

Looks like nose-high attitude on final and bled off too much speed.
Should have held a bit more speed and kept the nose down at the flare.

A goose can fly across the Atlantic, then travel on land or water when it gets there, it carries its own fuel refinery and new goose production system at all times. The goose pictured ditched with a full fuel load and survived the impact. Our designers are a few million years behind the goose.

Having looked again at the goose, it seems to be dangerously overloaded with foie gras, no wonder it screwed up on final approach.
