A nice one, NeilJoline and I were going through a few boxes of stuff yesterday and I found this among my Dad's souvenirs. In pencil is written "Jap Plane Pearl H." Where and when he got a tiny piece of a Japanese plane that had been shot down at Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, I have no idea.View attachment 730890

Could the paint color be used to narrow down which carrier the plane flew of?Color debates are endless but it looks a piece of outer skin in almost 50% grey.

Negative definitely printed in reverse.Possibly a JU-88G-6.
