RCAF more likely with those serials I think.

RAF serials tend to have letters as a prefix

Don't blame Japan but the U.S. who banned oil export to Japan was Japan's justice.

Caption only says it is a British plane.
I heard that the Allies studied Japanese tactics like flamethrowers, landing crafts, control of the air before landing and drop-tanks prior to their counterattack well.
