It's a colourized pic? I remember the wing leasing edge paint as yellow
This particular one and several more posted in the thread earlier are original colour photographs. They were published in Arawasi international-magazine, issue 11 2009.
Colours are somehow washed out for our eyes.
And yes, the leading edge is yellow, same as the arrow on the tail.

If you study these photos you will see two types of fairings, smooth sheet metal as in this example and a canvas fairing as seen earlier the net

All those have been made "in field" so probably depending on skills, materials and time. More interesting in this particular photo is the absence of the oblique firing guns. In fact some of those ramming-planes (Tai-atari) were not equipped as the night fighters and were slightly different. Probably even the nose gun was deleted as well. The missing antenna-mast is a typical sign for a ramming a/c.

B-29 (42-24769) V-27 Rover Boys Express, shot down over Tokyo on the 27th of January 1945 by Ki-45's and Ki-44's. In total, 5 crew members were killed in the aircraft, 7 jumped, of which 5 survived the war.
NOTE: I sincerely think the image is fake; I think it's a clever photo of two Murasan 1:100 scale models. Look at the weird shape of the B-29's tail; that looks like the Murasan 1:100 model that has that mishapen tail defect.

Thanks for the info! There is a good book called "B-29 Hunters of the JAAF". The case of V-27 is described there in detail - pgs. 78-80. The bomber was hit by a 37mm shell in the nose section, not rammed. After that, the loosing altitude a/c was attacked by Ki-44s, possibly with the 40mm canons (created specifically for B-29 hunt). The "Superfort" had no chance! BTW from the photo it looks pretty much like an attack from bellow, using the nose gun (37mm) of the Ki-45.B-29 (42-24769) V-27 Rover Boys Express, shot down over Tokyo on the 27th of January 1945 by Ki-45's and Ki-44's.
