Early attempt at lego to plug the crew into the seat so they wouldn't fall out when turning. Actually, now I think about it.....Thing is, if it's only just a hood for instrument flying, why all the gubbings on his back that would almost certainly interfere with his sitting in a cockpit seat.
No because that has what appears to be radios and an antenna on the back and a pilot would not fit in his seat with that in between.Instrument flying training hood?
