BuNo 65147 piloted by LT(JG) Everett L. Wheeler (#215) bounced over the barrier and crashed into the SB2C-4E piloted by LT Gordon A. Durna (#209). There
were no injuries. LT(JG) Wheeler's plane was damaged beyond repair and was jettisoned
