I very lazily tried to look up a movie that had James Garner in it once. He was a pilot (probably) in the RAF or Coastal Command. I remember seeing a scene with a B-17 that looked wrong. Anyone else remember that or did I just forget to take my meds?
I was about 4 or 5 at the time.

I did a search for James Garner movies and none had him as an airframe driver.

That is what I thought, too, but wasn't he a POW pilot in The Great Escape?

I do not recall any Coastal Command movies, except perhaps Captains of the Clouds and that was about ferrying Hudsons to England, and was too early for Garner, anyway.
