I love this A-26B factory production shot. Note that it shows the airplanes are all all over OD, top and bottom, and that they have both eight gun noses and six gun wings. That big hatch on the Right side shows up well, too.

Another production shot, SBD-5's at the factory in El Segundo in 1944, the setting of the movie "Swing Shift." At one time I worked within about a mile of that place.

The caption with the photo says 1944 but in fact the SBD-5 production began in Feb 1943, so the photo could well be in that time frame.1944 ? These roundel types were used from june 28, 1943 to august 14, 1943.
