As a fickle youth, the Marauder was one of many favorites. It was during my "It's the fastest! thus my favorite" stage. Like the P-51, the B-70 (sic), F-104 and the F-105. The TV show "12 O'Clock High" had not yet aired.

Mine too! I HAD to like it, 'cos I had a model of one, while my brother had a B25. So, naturally, my B26 was faaaaar superior

As far as I know those under defence guns on Blenheim's were all Brownings.

August 29, 1964. A Canadian Lancaster nearing the end of its peculiar journey on the Detroit River. This Mk.X was purchased that year by the City of Windsor for $1250 to serve as a memorial. Early next year it was installed on a plinth in Jackson Park where it stood for around four decades.
