Thanks for the B-23 shots. Looks like they got it to the museum just in time. The threadbare tire on the left main would not have many more landings left.

We had one of those at Camarillo Airport (formerly Oxnard AFB, and subsequently used by the Commemorative Air Force) undergoing rebuild for a few years. I drove by it every afternoon on my way to night college.

Piper PA-48 Enforcer - originally to be P-51 with a Lycoming T55-L-9 turboprop engine.
By the time the PA-48s were completed, they shared less than 10 percent of their structure with the P-51, and were longer and larger.
The first two prototypes (N201PE & N202PE) were heavily-modified P-51s, N481PE and N482PE were new-build airframes.
Yep, it was off by itself and could easily be missed by many visitors
