How do you fit anything else in after you get two Viggies in?

Very Carefully, I got pretty good at staking and restaking the hangar deck.
I might have gotten a bit cocky as when I started working for Republic Airlines in the early 1980's I didn't hesitate putting a 727-200 into the tail dock of the hangar. When my crew chief realized I was still on probation he about had a stroke, as it was company policy if a probee mechanic damaged a plane, they were terminated.
But I explained to him the 18 inches of clearance on each side of the vertical stab seemed like a mile compared to stacking the hangar deck of a carrier. He just shook his head and wrote a note on the hangar tug that Jeff was not allowed to move aircraft until this date
