I built the old Lindberg model of that one in the early 1970's, but it had a conventional tail not a V tail

Just read up on the XF-91, an interesting concept but quickly outmoded by more superior jet engines.

XF-91, a modification of the F-84 with a rocket system to help achieve Mach number. Modified wing and a few other modifications.

I've seen every one of those aircraft either on a airport apron or inflight except the B-29.
I was at my uncle's farm in Georgia in 1953 or 54 when a B-36 flew over, it seemed to vibrate everything around me.
I was only 6 or 7 at the time, but I was already a airplane nerd , and I knew what it was.
