While neither the Avenger nor the Hellcat can hold up to Terry's or Andy's, and the Corsair's cockpit colour is wrong (and I call myself a Corsair fan!) these are some of my favorite models that I've done. You've probably seen them before as they've all been built for quite some time, but figured since I got a DSLR I'd take some better photos.

Hellcat's Eduard 1/48, Avenger's Italeri (Accurate Miniatures) 1/48, and the Corsair's a Tamiya 1/48, all of the decals came from that Eduard double set of FAA Hellcats.

Thanks guys!

Some more, same deal as last time! All of these have been done up in USS Bunker Hill markings. Once again I screwed up on the cockpit colours on both the F4U and TBM (I presume it's not a TBF) and the yellow didn't turn out great on the Corsair. The Corsair is Tamiya, the Helldiver's Pro Modeller (pretty darn good too) and the Avenger's Lindberg. What a terrible model! I'm glad I built that before the Italeri one, or I don't know if I would have gotten through it after having a taste of building a real Avenger! Decals are kit for all of them, though only the F4U actually came with the arrows, the rest are painted.

Very nice work Falke. Question, what make and type is the 'grass' surface you use? I use various types, but want something similar to yours, just not sure which one it is in order to get the right stuff!

Like the Avenger, Hellcat and Corsair Catch 22
Finished a couple of models recently.
