Been talking about this model B-29 1/48 for the last 4 months. weather is miserable, boat is stored, turkey is cooking, family not here yet so the model comes out and God willing and the creek don't rise it might get done before 2011

Hi guys, thought I'd share this with you. I have been working on this for approx 18 months on and off.

The biggest problem is finding a background big enough to fit this on.

I'm usually with you as well Mike but for some reason this kit looks better with the crew.

And yes it is the tamiya kit. I got so carried away once I worked out how to put the picture attchments in I forgot to write anything else.

Nice Lanc Switcha.

The Lanc in 1/48 scale is a big model. The Tamiya offering is good to build and only had a few fit errors that were caused by me. Doh.

As for as housing this one I fortunatly/unfortunatly have given this one to a local who's father flew Lanc's during WWII. He is wrapped in his early christmas gift and I had the pleasure of building it but don't have to find a place to store it. Works for me.
