Tamiya 1:48, F4U-1A Corsair, 1944. Completed 3/4/22. Great quality with Tamiya as instructions were concise and parts fit went well. Decals are very easy to apply and took about 50 seconds in warm water to free from backing and apply. I used three different colors of Testors modeling spray paints on the main parts and used small bottles of about four different colors with fine brushes for some of the smaller parts. I just prefer my own decal configuration even though not all that historically correct. Some weathering throughout. I painted all the parts on the sprues, basically, before assembly. Time to paint and assemble, about 18 hours. Tamiya extra thin cement works best, especially on the smaller parts.
