As promised, here's the Hellcat in FAA markings. The roundels are from the Revell 1:32 Corsair kit, but they only came with two, but luckily my dad had bought 3. The "flags" on the tail (if there's a technical term for them, please let me know!) and the "3BB" are from the Techmod FAA Corsair decals. All others are OOB. It is painted in an overall Dark Sea Blue with White highlights.

Thanks Heinz! I do think it turned out rather sharp, better than I thought it would. I was never a big fan of the Hellcat before, now I have more respect for it.

SE, do you have any extra stars? If so, you might be able to scratch that decal off and apply a new one.

thanks charles. Nice hellcat catch! Yes I do have a spare decal sheet infact i have 2 from failed academy mustang kits. I will go ahead and reapply it as it was never on properly anyway. thanks for the idea catch!
