Next week!
I did that FW a few gb back, I really liked that kit!I too picked up a couple of items at the IPMS show. Sure was hard to exercise self control! So much to choose from, but for me not many 'bargains' to be found. Plenty of vintage kits at the vendors booths, but those are not my thing. If a kit is older than 20ish years since new tooling I will pass. Thought the Fw190 was a bargain at $25 allowing it has some add -on's included. Actually only gave $24 for it! I guess the vendor was using 'new math' when calculating the 50% and making out the label? Should have pressed him on the label indicating '-50% +'! The Mk.I was $18, kind of a good deal. The only splurge was the Uschi stencils; these are almost non-existent, at least where I shop.

Main reason for picking it up, other than it being a really great price for a fairly recent 'new-tool', was the engine details. I'm a sucker for any model that has this kind of detail!! Also glad that it has a stand, it would not fit on any of my shelving, I don't think?I did that FW a few gb back, I really liked that kit!

Ironically the FW is a really small plane. Even in 1/32 scale it's not much bigger the a 1/48 P-47.Main reason for picking it up, other than it being a really great price for a fairly recent 'new-tool', was the engine details.
