Yikes and too think Wayne will finish all that to his usual standard

I saw a funny cartoon in Model Art once.
Bloke goes " Doc says I'll live till my 92"
Wife " Thats great"
Bloke " Yeah but Im gunna need to live till im 200 to get this kits made!"

Yep I know, Spit5 and me ordered the kit as the "2 in 1" abroad ( from Czech). So there are two models in the box with photoetched and rasin parts in addition. The cost is going to be paid 50/50.I cannot wait this.

I've obtained a few models since I last posted. A Dragon JagdPanzer IV and JagdTiger, both in 1/72 scale. They are very nice models, but I fear my fumbly fingers and weak eyes may make them overly difficult. I did buy the Tamiya modeling station with the illuminated magnifying lens. It works surprisingly well so maybe that will help. I also recently got a 1/72 Airfix P-40, Typhoon, and FW190 Dora. The quality of these kits is pretty weak, but the prices were right so I think I may do some "what-ifs" with them. I also got a good deal on the Tamiya 1/25 T-34/85 and the Hobby Boss 1/35 Sherman 76mm. I also got a good deal on the Airfix Hurricane MkI, 1/48 scale. Finally, I got the HobbyBoss 1/48 FM-2, with decals for my dad's ship's sister ship, the Gambier Bay. I have been on a buying jag lately, but have been doing little building because summer activities leave little time for modeling.

Just picked up a Tamiya 1/48th Do 335A Pfeil, and Revell's 1/48th Arado Ar 234C-3/4. The Revell kit is of surprisingly good quality, considering it's a Revell; most unusual. I'm used to Revell kits being sparse on details, more of a "models for the masses" kind of a mentality. Judging by the quality and the composition of the plastic, I'm guessing is this is a re-bagged/re-boxed Japanese kit. In any case, it is going together quite well; I build strictly OOTB, not much of a detailer (it takes me long enough to finish an OOTB kit as it is). All of the parts are very detailed, right down to the little instrument panels (there are three of them) and the reconnaissance cameras (two of those). All in all, a very nice kit (especially, as I said, for a Revell).

Not really models per se, but I got some Micro Sol for my decals to get them into the panel lines, so we'll see how that goes, and also "Tamiya Weathering Master" Kit B with rust, soot and snow, mostly for exhaust staining for the next model I intend to purchase that being the Revell 1/32 Fw 190D-9. I'm either going to do "Rote 13" from JV 44 or Dortenmann's "Schwarze 1" from 14./JG 26, seeing as I have decals for both lying around from my previous Dora. I was going to order it today, but the model store clerk wasn't sure if they could, but I'm hopefully getting a phonecall tomorrow from a guy who knows his planes better. So in regards to both my purchases and my hopeful purchase I have few questions.

1. Has anybody here used the weathering kit before, and if so do they have any tips?

2. Has anybody used Micro Sol, and if so do they have any tips?

3. I have read that the 1/32 Revell Dora is just a reboxing of the Hasegawa kit with a normal and Ta-152 tail included. I only read it in one source, so is this true? I'm sure Wurger will be able to dig something up! The reason I want it is not for the big tail, but for the price. Revell tends to be a lot cheaper than Hasegawa.
