Stuff is just rolling in. Wayne, I got those Tiffie decals recently as well along with the sheet for Canadian Beaufighters. I like the way Aviaology researches their subjects and presents the info. Good buy.

I'm suitably impressed with it Andy.

Finally got my Birthday presents from my lovely wife....., had to go collect them myself but that don't really matter...

A veritable smorgasbord of delights her folks and to add to that pleasure……………………..

some nice masks and internal PE for my Javelin and some rockets for the French F4U-7.

Postal delivery on a Sunday as well……………wonder of wonders!!

These were dropped off today, by the shop owner next door. (I was out when they were delivered yesterday).
Two 1/48th scale vac-form canopies for the Arii P-47s.
A 1/48th scale Mirage 2000 canopy, the main section of which will replace the broken part in my Hobby Boss Mirage III kit.(I couldn't be *rsed moulding a new one!).
Resin wheels and white metal undercart legs for the planned refurb of the old 1/32nd scale Revell P-47 razorback.
Carpena decals for the Academy and Hobby Boss Mirage kits - one to be French, the other Argentinian.

I'm not totally happy with the resin wheels - they look great, but appear to be rather narrow in cross section - but they're better than the existing, modified, kit wheels.

Forgot to post this, received on the Friday....
Somehow the 1/32 plans in the Thunderbolt book looked too big, but....

She's bl**dy massive the lass....

As I understand, I can build these;

P-47D-25: (parts: L1, L2, L3, G1, G2, G3) Fine plastic strip should be added to the floor to represent corrugations.
P-47D-26: (parts: M1, M2, D16, G1, G2, G3) Fine plastic strip should be added to the floor to represent corrugations.
P-47D-27/28: (parts: M1, M2, D16, G1, G2, G3) Dorsal fin (D34) may be used - check references. Check propeller fitted.
P-47D-30: (parts: M1, M2, D16, F1, F2, F3 ) Dorsal fin (D34) may be used - check references. Check propeller fitted.
P-47D-40: (parts: M1, M2, D16, F1, F2, F3) Dorsal fin (D34) should be used. Provision for five zero-length rocket stubs under each wing. Check propeller fitted.

Nice one old boy! And yes, the P-47 is bl**dy big in 1/32nd scale - just been looking at my old Revell razorback version, and confirmed those resin wheels shown in my previous post are around 2 scale inches too narrow - b*gg*r !
On a more positive not though, I've just won an Airfix 1/48th scale Mosquito FB.VI for under a Tenner - didn't expect that!

Don't mind if I do old chap - a swift 'T Stoff' wouldn't go amiss!
Quite handy, getting that Mossie kit, as it has 'paddle blade' prop blades, separate from the hubs. With those, and another Airfix Mossie set in the spares box, I can make two Hamilton Standard props for my P-47s, as I have spare DH blades for a Mossie. That'll save me around twenty quid or more, on Ultracast props for the P-47s !
Result !

I picked this up from one of the members of the iPMS group last Saturday for the HARS Caribou build.
Can anyone tell me the lineage of the kit? It came with a resin cockpit....... $15.00.

All I could find was a company called Ideal. I wonder if it's a knock-off of the Hobbycraft kit. They were complaining a few years ago about an Asian company. It would be interesting to compare the innards of the two kits.
