And just after I finish whining about my finances, this comes in the mail!

Not a recent purchase just yet but it could be for someone here if they are interested in their own S.M. 79. Right now it is at a great price although I expect it will go up a bit between now and the close of the auction. If anyone here is interested and is the buyer, drop me a PM and I will send you the left over SM79 Sky decal sheet that I purchased for my build.

And on the conveyor belt tonight (but no cuddly toy!) ..... some of the things which have arrived over the last week.

PIC 1. Resin seats and wheels for the Revell British Phantom. Unlike the Hasegawa kit, which has the correct wheels in white metal, with 'rubber' tyres, the Revell re-boxing only includes the common sprue with the U.S. wheels, of a different style and size. Note I received the missing photo-etch for the seats, although I'll probably use foil for the harness themselves.
Pic 2. Turned brass pitot and AoA probes for the Italeri Tornado GR1.
PICS 3 and 4. A handy little tube-cutting jig.
PICS 5 to 7. Those oxygen hoses I've been waiting for !

First pic shows the packs and sizes, next is the 1.5mm and 2mm, and finally, a rather poor close-up to show the detail. These are flexible, and four inches long.
As can be seen on the labels, they're from MDC (Model Design Construction), and cover virtually all requirements - just multiply the size by the scale you need, to give the full size of the real hose, and work from there.

I think they'll be useful in awkward areas Glenn. I'll be using one on the seat of the RCAF Starfighter, so we'll see what they turn out like.

Jim, do you mean the 'Expo' tool, or the 'rubber' hoses ?!!
If it's the tool you're asking about, it's a little jig to clamp micro tubing, such as Albion Alloys metal tubes, or 'Plastruct' or 'Evergreen' plastic tube or rod, so that it can be cut accurately and neatly, either a 'straight' cut, or at a 45 degree angle. The tube is fed into the v- shaped 'jaws' and clamped by the little lever at the top, whilst the required length is set against the scale on the side, by sliding the central rod in the relevant direction, then lock it in place. Then just use a razor saw through the desired slot, just like using a mitre block.
The long black thingy on the bottom is the handle, which can of course be hand-held, or clamped in a vise.
