Nice ones Wayne. What's the book like ? I've noticed some errors and vague, bordering on un-informed information in some of his books. That said, books on the Whirlwind are thin on the ground, so anything is welcome.

I've been searching for one of those kits at a reasonable price for a while, finally I found it in France, It has been shipped yesterday so, hopefully, I will get it soon and I will be able to add one more item to my collection of Italian WW2 birds:

I still have to decide how to do her in terms of camouflage and marking, but probably not smoke rings, my hand isn't steady enough.

Many thanks Geo, I knew about those decals made by Mike Grant but by the time I was looking for them they weren't available in 1/32 scale so what I did with my Macchi 205?
I printed smoke rings on adhesive paper and cut each individual smoke ring with a sharp cutter in order to obtain a spray mask, the result wasn't too bad, see here:

May be if I decide to do again this type of camou I could do the same using masking film cut with my little cutting plotter, will see.

Considering I know sweet FA about the Whirlwind it seems reasonably good for details of variants, good selection of photo's and profiles and general info and like you say there is not much around at all.
