I agree on the Evan's catch. Nice haul Pal.

As far as Terry's bottles are concerned... that's true Terry is giving bottles but all of them are empty. I wouldn't enjoy too much rather. Just he need some of room for his newly purchased kits.

Terry.. I think, you could sell these bottles to Vic. At least , you would earn some of money for a couple of kits.

You know I said I wasn't going to buy any more kits?
Well ... er, ahem .... I'll blame Cory for this one, as he got me going on RAF Phantoms - I've just won a Revell (ex-Hasegawa) 1/48th scale Phantom FGR2.
It was another bid I put in and din't expect to win, so looks like I'll now have two RAF bent-wing birds, this one to be done in the earlier green and grey camouflage, as a 23 Sqn aircraft.
Oh well, I don't really need space in the house to walk around in .......

Naughty, naughty.

Speaking of blame, Terry got me started on thinking that an RCAF Starfighter should be on my future so I busted open the wallet and bought this baby yesterday during my visit to Toronto.

Good catch there Andy. Looking forward to seeing what the basics of the kit are like, as I wouldn't mind doing a Luftwaffe kite, using a 'standard' Hasegawa kit someday.
BTW, see my reply in my Starfighter thread, re decals.

Nice Andy and yes it is Jim. Off to Google that bad boy, can't seem to figure out it's purpose on my own.

Yeah, the CCV version is unique, having been a test bed for advanced flight controls that eventually led to the Eurofighter. I had not seen the Hasegawa Starfighter in any version anywhere in stores at home so when I saw this one whilst browsing a neat store I went to here in Toronto I decided to snap it up. Even the Eduard re-release of the Hasegawa kit sold out in a month. The added parts will end up in the spares bin so if anyone needs a F-104 tailplane just shout.

Aviation World. If you're ever in town, drop them a visit. Close to the airport. This store surprised me in that the web site doesn't really emphasize the hobby side of it. There aren't a lot of models but what he does have is mostly rare stuff. No Tamiya for some reason. Shelves of decals and some resin and PE stuff. Also an excellent selection of books and videos.

Welcome to Aviation World

I have been there! The sell pilot supplies as well right? Owned by an airline pilot? Was there many moons ago. Great place. Glad it survived all these years.

Sounds like the same place Jim. Can't say what the owner's background is but, yes, they do sell lots of pilot accessories. That's why I never really gave this place much of a thought before in my many visits to T.O. but now that I've been there it will be a must-do stop for all future trips.

OK...I caved. I lasted 27 days on the no kit buying resolutions. I bought it for reasons...
A) I've always wanted one,
B) It was the cheapest price I've every seen for one,
C) Because...
