Nice selections all. We did an article in the IPMS Robert L. Scott chapter news letter many many moons ago about how to get new kits passed the wife. My fav eas to take the largest kit you have to the meeting (empty box). And fill it with all it will hold. Tell her it did not sale. Not a lie because it did not. My favorite bot, Monogram B-36.

Well, the model show in Nanton was yesterday, and while I unsurprisingly didn't place, I did pick up a couple of kits. Didn't find any of the Canadian stuff I was looking for, but I did pick up these:

I'll be doing it RAAF in the overall green scheme, eventually! Got it for about half price.

And this:

I saw it and asked the vendor what he was asking for it, and he said $15! I couldn't get my wallet out fast enough. He also sold me an Aires cockpit for an FG.1, FGR.2 Eduard PE and canopy masks, and I ended up paying $40 total for it. I will definitely be doing this one Royal Navy, just have to find decals. I know some have come up for future release at Hannant's but I can't find any currently for sale.

Also picked up some Beaufighter stencils and Quickboost props for my 1/48 Mustang.

Nicely done Cory. There were some excellent deals there for sure. I picked up two completely unnecessary additions to my stash as well. Fifty bucks total for these two:

Great buys chaps. Cory, the Royal Navy Phantom was the FG1 (F4K), but you can swap around the stabilator, nose gear leg and nose gear door from your other kit.
74 Sqn got 'second hand' FGR2s after being equipped, as a 'stop gap' measure, with old, ex- US Marine (or Navy) F4Js, known as the F4J(UK).
I still have most of the RN decals from my original Hasegawa kit, although they're nearly 30 years old, if you want them ?

Unfortunately both of my kits are FGR.2s, but they come with both gear doors, and the gear leg is easy enough to find. That said, the stabilator will be difficult to deal with.

As for the decals, thanks for the offer but for now I'll hold off and see when those new ones become available.

An interesting thing to note, my other Phantom is an older release, and actually lacks alignment pins for the fuselage! The one I bought yesterday has them though. Strange...

Cory.

I need to check my kit tomorrow but I think it has both FGR 1and FGR 2 parts.

I will be doing a 92 sqn bird which were FGR 2's, so you can have the bits for an FGR 1 if I have them.

If so I will send them with the decals !

Just got this in from China. Now I have an old Nichimo, the AM and the Academy kits and the Hobby Boss. Looks like a carrier Ops Pacific GB in the works.
