Airfix (new tool) Beaufighter TF. Mk.X
Eduard Brassin Beaufighter main wheels, for above kit.

Had hoped this would be the 'ultimate' Beaufighter kit in 1:72... alas no. Initial parts inspection shows the Hasegawa kits remain the best available in 1:72.
Not that this is a bad kit, but the Hasegawa kits are better detailed in the engines, undercarriage etc. (To be honest, even the Matchbox engine cylinders look better than these ones!)

I just spotted this kit a day or so ago, and was going to tell you a new tool Beau had been released. Even if other kits are better, this has got to be an improvement on 50+ year old original kit !!

Cheers guys, and for the thought Terry! Have been watching the net like a Hawk since hearing it would be released.

My opinion may sound a little harsh. The kit generally is basically as good as the Hasegawa offerings, though not quite as 'refined'. Some features like seperate rudder and optional dihedraled tailplanes
are a bonus too, and it is obvious fron the mouldings a Mk.VI and Mk.X with ASV Mk. XIII radar and tail with fin fillet are probably on the way.
Where the kit fails is the smaller details as mentioned earlier. While it has a better cockpit than the Hassy kits, and seperate engine banks, details are fairly basic. This is also apparent in that you could buy Eduard main wheels, exhausts and cockpit PE before the kit was even released...

All in all, a 100-fold improvement on their original kits, and not far behind tbe Hasegawa kits

I'll say ! The Harrier, in the last release as a GR9, was over £30, although I grabbed one from the now defunct 'Model Zone' for a 'Tenner', built for a friend.
Might have to invest in one methinks, as it's a really nice kit.

Yip definitely, was first looking for a FRS.1 for a Falklands bird, but as the old Airfix and Tamiya kits have some......issues shall we say, I started to look for the Revell GR Mk. 7, which is seems are as rare hen's teeth, I came across this one here; http://www.ebay.co.uk and Hasegawa PT36 HARRIER GR Mk.7 "Royal Air Force" 1/48 scale kit.

Babie Doły is a part of the Gdynia city now. Initially it was a name of a gully there. After the WW2 the name was started being using for calling of the military airfield built at the area.
