Thanks for the offers guys. Missile wise I'm OK as some aircraft used a dummy missile colored blue on one wing and what I believe is a sensor on the other.

As for decals, when the time comes to build, I'll go through my decals and see what I have. I'll be looking for something in a blue/grey camo scheme to go with my built A-4 aggressor, similar to these...

Got a very quick delivery from Model Hobbies, arrived today.

Some etched-brass carb intake guards, one to be used on the Spit. Mk.Vb in the current GB, an engraving tool, and as a 'prezzy' for Andy, a rivet tool.

I've been working on a Stirling diorama for a museum commission, off and on, which is way behind schedule.
The fifty-year old Airfix kit being used, although still reasonable for it's age, needs a lot of effort in some areas, in order to get it how I want it. So, in order to 'catch up' and get the diorama finished and delivered, I thought I'd save some time, and bought this.
Nice kit, and it shows the huge difference between the kits of my youth, and present-day production, and the level of detail attainable with 'modern' tooling methods.

I guess they possibly will re-tool the Stirling, and hopefully the Halifax too. They are getting better all the time, but the parent company, as a company, isn't very well thought of in the trade, or so I was told today by one who knows !
Apparently, the Typhoon saved their bacon .............

Hornby old chap?
