Got a few resin bits for the Mitchell build - the wheels will go on the 'J', and I'll use the wheels from that kit on the GB entry, as it'll be easier to drill the plastic wheels, with the axles being very thick on the old Revell kit.

I'm not sure Jim. First time I've seen the Squadron name on the TD stuff.
Really like that quickboost stuff. Did Squadron buy out true detail?

I must order a Defiant (and the Stuka, when it's announced) for my BoB collection - then move into a bigger house, as mine seems to be full of kit boxes ....

This arrived in the mail today. I know it's been out for a while, but the high asking price (as with many I tale ride kits) turned me off from it. I lucked out and got this on Ebay shipped to my front door for under $20 USD

A very nice kit. Comes with a superb decal sheet with 6 options and even a 35 page reference book. The detail looks good and crisp, and it looks like a simpler build than the Hasegawa kit. (Can't speak for the Airfix kit)

Good one. Check the builds by Andy and Karl (Crimea River and Rochie), as there seem to be a couple of slightly tricky areas.
I recently got the new Airfix 1/48th scale Hurricane Mk1, and it's superb - I reckon the best Hurricane in any scale - and 'only' around £17 (about $24 US).

Just got a text from Hornby....

Your order will be delivered 29 Feb by Interlink. Not in? You can pick up from shop or leave safe....

That'll be the Boulton Paul Defiant one suspects....

My birthday Pressies....

I still have some of the buildings from that series ( I think they're the same scale), including a couple of hangars. I built an entire USAAF bomber base with them, back in the early 1980's, complete with about ten B-17s, to use for a vertical photo.
