Picked this up on E Bay yesterday. I have been looking for any 87 at a decent price and finally managed to nab this one. Not sure when I will pick it up as I have it mailed to a friends place in the USA. He should have it by this coming Friday.

I have read the internet reviews and they all seemed pretty positive. Anyone here built it and if so how did you find it?

I've got the Revell re-boxing of the same kit Jeff, and it's very nice indeed, with good detail, although I have yet to build it.
A couple of areas are simplified, mainly the hinges and actuators for the ailerons / flaps beneath the wings, but these can easily be improved upon if desired. There's a detailed build in the 'Classic Modelling Guide - Luftwaffe aircraft in the BoB', which suggests that the kit goes together without problems, and concentrates on the addition of extra detailing.
Airfix are releasing a new tool 1/48th scale kit very soon, which looks excellent.

Jeff, Terry pretty much nailed it, though in my opinion, it's pretty basic for a Hasegawa kit. Lots of cockpit detail missing and, yeah I would have expected better on the wing actuators. See my build here.

Do hurry up Kevin....!

Another text from Hornby....

Your Interlink driver Kevin will deliver your order today 14:47-15:47. Not in? You can pick up from shop or leave safe

Them there Defiants are on their way!

Shrubbery?
Nothing too fancy, maybe a low white fence around it ?

Notice that our Swettish Member for Glasgow mentions the Defiant in the plural - he's gone and bought a complete squadron !
