Tried getting a Defiant from the LHS on Saturday. They arrived in stock on Tuesday afternoon of last week, the shop is closed on Wednesdays, and they'd sold out by Thursday morning, along with the new Revell Shackleton !
Been told there's more due this week, at a slightly lower, 'special offer' price, so I'll call in tomorrow afternoon, after Iris has her deliveries unpacked, and hope I'm lucky - especially at a lower price, and no shipping costs !
EDIT:- Just 'phoned the LHS, and more Defiants are due on Thursday (if Airfix have any left !!). Iris is going to put one aside for me, so that's sorted !

Just shows that kits which have been on wants lists for decades, are very obviously going to sell.
