Didn't follow me home. Stalked the breed without mercy, and pounced when the price was right(read cheap)...

...and no Jan, it won't be built as a 13 but another red drone. You are welcome to the numbers and nose art if you like though. If anyone wants pic of the trees, I'll post them later

A couple of questions:

What does "Weekend Edition" mean? Are there not many parts or something?

What about the brand HOBBY BOSS? Are they low part kits that spare detail for ease of build?

Curious...

The "weekend edition" series of the Eduard means that a kit may be assembled in one weekend, theoretically. These kits are the same kits offered as the Profi Pack but without the extra PE or resin parts. There is a decal sheet included but for one variant ( one plane markings) only while the Profi Pack contains a decal sheet for marking of a couple of different planes. In other words we would say that the "Weekend Edition" kits are the base ones.

The older Hobby Boss kits , especially these of 1/72 scale are quite easy to assemble. Not too many parts. But you have to know that the firm offers also more advanced kits for both 1/72 and 1/48 or 1/32 scale that are really very nice.

Agree with Wojtek plus the kits are a lot cheaper than the "Profipacks". Also, I rarely use kit decals so having only one decal option in the kit doesn't matter to me. Cheaper still, if you can find them, are Eduard Overtrees. These kits just contain the plastic.

Hey Jan, PM me your snail mail address again. For some reason I fail to keep these. The posties are getting locked out/on strike starting tonight or tomorrow(barring government intervention) so I'll fire them off when this is over.

Good stuff Wayne.
I have bought - absolutely nothing !
I was at Duxford over the weekend, and went past the Hannant's tent, and at least another dozen or so stands selling new and OOP kits, and books, and didn't even stop to have a look !
But I've just ordered a 1/16th scale R/C Tiger 1, which will get some extra detailing and weathering added ...................
