If these are for painters you may use them but I would suggest testing them on a surface pre-painted with acrylic paint or varnish. To be honest not all of them are useful for modelling, just a couple of colours. All depends on model colours.

Just thought that they might be useful, as it says weathering oils on them....
Jan , of course you may stick to these acrylic paints and use other stuff for weathering... e.g MIG stuff.
But please don't mess with the oil enamels for modellers and oil paints for painters. Just these are different ones. These for painters can be used for weathering of both oil enamels and acrylic paints. However I would check on their influence on acrylic painted surface firstly. It is because of the thinner you can use for the artistic paints.

I prefer Flory Washes, they are water based and work over acrylics or lacquers or enamels just fine. There are of course lots of chalk washes available, any of them work well. And as far as oils I have seen the 502 line used by numerous folks also over just about anything. But as mentioned I would always test first. I have myself just recently started using oils and there are so many types out there to be honest I am sticking with what I have seen others use before I branch out and try others. I do know you want to avoid acrylic water based oils.
There is nothing like acrylic water based oils. Either these are oil based colours ( usually enamels ) or acrylic water based paints. However, these days even the acrylic paints aren't water based dopes like it used to be in the past.

Looking to update my brushes as well, thought that I'd try one of them there sets, some UK based guy occasionally put up on the book, I'm not too sure if he makes them himself, anyhoo....I'll be damned if I can remember his name!!

Where did you get the fine-line brushes old boy ?
I used to be able to get similar ones, by Italeri, but the LHS hasn't been able to get them recently. I like the 'wide grip' shafts very useful for my knackered hands.
