Snagged two new kits today. The 109 I bought at the LHS, the Lancaster I scored on eBay for 50 USD which I think was a really good deal, it was new still shrink wrapped.
Buyer had it up for auction and I asked what he would take as a buy it now price.

The 109 is a great kit, I've built 2 of them and have another in the stash. I think I was looking at that same Lancaster a couple of days ago and thinking what a good price it was.

Good haul Robert, and I agree about the '109 kit - got three to do for my BoB collection, plus one already built.
Great price on the Lanc kit, and it's not too bad given it's age. Got the 'standard' version in the stash, started on the corrections, and have built one before.
Both versions have always been over priced, even when first released in the 1970s, and the up-dated B1/III is even more expensive, but still with the same inaccuracies. I grabbed my current one, original issue, from e-bay for 'only' £40, so your price is a bargain, as they can fetch twice that price.

Right....as I got a refund for the decals and some other stuff on ebay, cheaper shipping etc., I added another 1/32 '109 to the one I already bought.
This comes with Scheufele's 'Black 13' that I want, Ventura V3251 plus SuperScale #32-117....
So, with a bit of luck and that bl**dy Murphy with his law staying well away, I should soon have these two!
