Nice scores guys!

A small addition to the stash - slipped in with a "consumables" order when SWMBO wasn't looking! It's a pretty good looking kit - lots of details to be found.

Some nice stuff there. When I was last on Hobby Zones site, it said they don't ship to Canada. Just as well with shipping costs. Lots of options for the Lysander; bottom left being my choice if I ever buy a kit again

For posterity...

What does it look like in the box Jim. I have the Marquette Stratoliner. Its the roughest limited run kit I've ever seen. Another one of my partially finished kits on the shelf of doom.

Hobby Lobby is having a 40% off sale on models and I saw two Atlantis reissues of old Revell kits that I could not resist. I already have a couple of Young Astronauts issues of the Atlas but since I used to actually launch the beautiful beasts I decided I needed another. Total price including sales tax came to a bit over $51.

News from Squadron:

The new owners did not acquire the rights to the books. But when the new publishers start printing them again, they'll stock them.

Interesting way of doing the fin and tail planes, were there other versions ?

Yes. They offer the prototype (as well as one or two others) that had a different horizontal and vertical tail.
