Ok so after over a year out I'm getting back into modelling.

I've got a few aircraft on the go but fancied something different so picked up this D-Day sea assault set this week.

Started last night. Good to be back in the game. Nice little collection of models in the set and will be fun to play around with the diorama base. Bargain for £16.

Good to see you back at it Chris

Thanks Geo, took some time but finally got there. Really just going to take time and work at a more relaxed pace now and also explore some other subjects outside of just WW2 aircraft. I've got an Apache Itch that needs scratching.
Of course I need to finish my old GB Horsa entry that fell be the wayside soon though. Will be joining (and finishing) the next GB as well. 👍🏼

Latest in the RNZAF collection:
Kora Models 1:72 Fairey Gordon Mk.I and Mk.II.

A Fairey IIIf Mk.IIIB/ IIIM is also on it's way (we used both variants).

Previous to this, the vacform kits from Contrail were the only games in town (Yes, I have those in the stash if anyone needs one!)

Stringbags?????????????????????????????????????????!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!

Yeah Bill...unfortunately we used ALOT of stringbags in the RNZAF!
I think the last in service were the DH 89 Dominies (beautiful planes!), which were retired in 1953.
