Picked this up at auction on e bay yesterday for $36.00 USD ( including the shipping) I won't get it till close to Christmas as she is being shipped to my niece in Niagara Falls NY and she won't be back this way till school break. Look for it to be entry #3 for me in group build 24.

I only got it as the Revell kit's jet nozzle lacks detail. On my example, the exterior surface 'petal' detail is almost invisible, although the internal 'ribs' are passable. I'm not recovered enough (yet) to attempt to make individual nozzle petals, and trying to engrave them is not that accurate, or effective. Hopefully, the resin parts can be adapted to fit the Revell kit (they are designed for use with the Hasegawa kit) - no doubt I'll soon find out !

Not out of the way at all Terry, 15-20 minute drive, and could always use an excuse to go. Yesterday would have been perfect to go, but unfortunately I didn't have the time. It was +9 at one point, and sunny. Today we're getting 5cm of snow...

And not a purchase yet, but for the upcoming jet group build, I'll be doing an RCAF Sabre. I've discovered a great decal set here.
