KISS principle is all that is required...Schemes, markings and Antenna wiring is usually the only extensions to OOB, some throw in seatbelts too?

my Pre-christmas delivery!

Nice scores Wayne!

Cheers for the input too - definitely 'keep it simple' or it will defeat the purpose of the build.

As for seatbelts, I'd say Ok, but let that be the limit. Otherwise we'll be getting into instrument panels, controls, etc, which is well into superdetailing territory, definitely not 'Out Of Box'.

Some nice titles coming out in French lately. Very nice Wayne.

OOB = kit supplied parts plus antenna wires, aftermarket decals and seatbelts. Plastic card can be used to fill gaps but other than that no scratch building allowed.

Works for me. As for timing, I have projects lined up for GB 25 but none for 26. I might also want to take a crack at one of my ships during GB26.

Cool Andy. If more people show interest, we can sort out a start date.
I'm keen already, having just started an Airfix (80s issue) Harrier GR.3 as an OOB build to get the hand back in before doing 'serious' builds again.

Took a while to get here, but it FINALLY showed up. Came from Fareast Research in Japan through Amazon for a little over eleven bucks. Details look very decent. I may get some upgrades for when I get closer to building it.

Nice one Aaron! I wonder if she was hard to land, with the pilot so high above and behind the nacelles and u/c?

Thanks guys, as to when I will get started, I'm actually worse than the Jan. I have been buying books and searching the internet on the S-2F I have and have found nothing on VS-38 "The Red Griffons". Still working on it. Slow as mollasses I know but I am trying my best to get this correct.

I ordered that very same model (coming from china though. It wasn't supposed to come until next week but I checked the tracking today and found it was delivered yesterday and left on my front porch in Chicago. Unfortunately I'm in Michigan now so I hope its still there when I get home tomorrow.
