More ebay pics etc. As you can see I have been looking at old Battle mags and comics etc. Some great art and stories in these UK comics. Johnny Red and his exploits over the Russian Front flying various planes including Mossies! Forget the historical accuracy admire the art! Charley's War was the best tho - all about WW1 but this was both historically accurate and well drawn.

I jave loads of mags and comics.... too many you could say. I have been reading Battle for yonks (defunct now tho) and still read 2000AD. Fantastic, like some of the Batman ones too. I strongly recc anyone who hasn;t to have a look out for Charley's War.

I have resumed trying to flog off some of my own mags now with an old AirFrame featuring Shacks and Starfighters, here are the covers of the mags that have to go plus two snaps that others are flogging incl an interesting one of the mock-Stuka used in the BoB movie.

I was looking at the comics for sale on EBay the other day and was apalled at how much they are asking for early Batman and Spiderman comics. Literally thousands of pounds! I used to read these DC comics when I was a kid (but I am not that old) and was not impressed. I liked the Marvel ones tho I like the new more gothic Batman.
Below are some of the comics I read still. Especially like UK comic 2000AD's Rogue Trooper. Well drawn and VG stories about battle on the 'Nu Earth' - if you don't know about him I suggest you look him up on Wikipedia etc. He has been revived in the latest issues of 2000AD BTW.

Great cover art on the others too.
