i read somewhere that two Rocaf P-51Ds were shot down on 2 april 1950 by soviet fighters over shanghai

what aircraft was used against them?

according to some russian sources Nikolai guzhev shot both down

killing Li chang tai and, and his wingman Wang baoxiang bailed out and was rescued
but only changtai was confirmed lost
