Special Hobby

Yesterday I got the May Squadron Flyer depicting a 1:32 Special Hobby Heinkel He 100D-1 on the cover. I always thought this airplane was a contender for a bright future and never understood why it was shelved. Anyway, has anyone any experience with this manufacturer? At $70.00 for the kit I would expect it to build, paint and weather itself.
