I agree completely!
But why do they spoil the look of cool planes like that with Red Bull paint jobs?

I personally dont mind it, some Red Bull aircraft look very good...It does detract from the originality though.

The reason it has been painted with a Red Bull paint scheme is because the makers of Red Bull sponsor the aircraft and get a payback with advertising of their product via the aircraft. Without Red Bull sponsorship, and that paint scheme, that MiG-17 probably wouldn't be flying.
