I was thinking (I know, nobody's more surprised than me!), that they also ventured out in the Atlantic and North Atlantic every so often....
 
I wonder what one of these beauties would look like....

















As much as I like the white/blue/orange, I think that one in bare metal would be more likely, like the PBY Catalina and C-47 we had....
