Tagging individual members in a post.

I know how to put a URL in a post that points to a specific post elsewhere in the forum. I was wondering is there a way to insert a link in a post to a specific persons profile? Sort of like "tagging" them. If so would doing so show up (hopefully) in their alerts or newsfeed?

You should be able to tag someone by using a @ and then the username, like I did.
