Best bomber of WW2, rather than the bomber(s) that had a greatest impact? It has to be the B-29. Nothing flies higher, faster, further and with greater bombload, defensive armament and crew comfort than the Superfortress.
Wasn't the B-32 faster in cruise?
I don't know about the crew comfort. The B-29's pilot's cockpit looks so cool—to me, who is not an aviator.

I don't know about the B-32, but the B-29 offered heated and pressurized conditions for aircrew that must have seemed miraculous after the B-17 and B-24. There's even a bunk for a kip.

Maybe not the best, but one I think is underrated is the CANT Z.1007ter:

It upgraded to an all 12.7mm defensive armament, and notably had 1,180hp per engine (3,540hp total). This allowed for a max speed of ~490kph (~304mph). Again, maybe not the best medium bomber of WWII, but still an underrated one. It would've been even better if it got its originally intended Alfa Romeo 135s (1,400hp a piece | 4,200hp total!).
