Its not too far away at Avspecs. They gave it a ground run at an open day last weekend; I think they said it was meant to be ready for CAA inspections next month, and leaving hte country early next year, all going well.

That's Rod Lewis's and will join his collection at San Antonio, Tx. I've been told it should be ready for its first flight soon ish.

Brilliant !
Now we just need to hi-jack it, and bring it to Duxford !

It's the 75th anniversary of Operation Jericho (the Amiens Raid) on 18 Feb. Probably a bit late to try and get all the world's Mossies to the UK for a shindig, huh?

Sad it's not sticking round. Oh well, I'll just have to head to San Antonio to get a good look at it. Has KA114 with Jerry Yagen been bought yet?

The lesson: If you love history, love working with wood, and love aircraft -- build a Mosquito!
