In my castle....
Just out curiosity, did any FG (or pilot) ever fly three different fighters in combat like P-47/P-38/P-51 or anything like that?
I can imagine that the Eagle Squadrons probably did with Spitfire/?/?.....

The 4th Fighter Group transferred from the three Eagle Squadrons of the RAF to the 8th USAAF, still equipped with the Spitfire MkV. They re-equipped with the P-47, then got the P-51 in 1944.
All 8th AF P-47 Groups in ETO re-equipped with the P-51 by January 1945, except the 56th FG, as did some P-38 Groups, such as 20th FG.

Been thinking of doing something like that, for a group or a pilot, Hagerstrom started it, being one of very few aces in two wars, P-40 and F-86....

i believe the Tuskegee flew p-40's p47's and of course p 51's
