Been a "weather" day, storms come through just before 0300 this morning with a tornado hitting down about a mile away, power outages until a little after 7 this morning and internet not coming back until 1600 this evening. Nice a breezy and 72 now.
 
Heavy rain overnight. They've issued an evacuation notice for a township about 10 minutes out of Blenheim as they're worried about the stop banks.
Hopefully the rain in the hills stops soon so that the river doesn't come up too much more.

Luckily the rain mostly fell on the other side of the hills, so no need to evacuate.

Bluebird day here today.
