79°F/26°C today with 75% humidity, so kinda warm and muggy in the sun, but with light winds so nice in the shade. The rest of the week should be very nice, sunny with low-to-mid 70s for highs with low humidity and no rain.

Suppose to get cooler here the next few days with the temperature around 60 and night time temperatures in the 30's. The very top of the mountains may see snow flurries.

83°F/28°C for a high today with 60% humidity, sunny with light winds for most of the day. Cloudy now with steady 10 mph winds. Beautiful day.

Supposed to have similar weather for the next 1 1/2 weeks. :)

We have had drought and near-drought conditions for the last few years, so the foliage clearing crews cut as little as possible in order to hopefully keep the brush and trees from being harmed even more. With the return to normal water levels and rain the result is an abundance (explosion) of greenery this year.

Started seeing significantly more hawks and owls sitting on the overhead street lights in the last month, hunting mice and ground squirrels and such. Nice to see them back.

Torrential rain every day
Over here on this side of FL they report we are 12 inches low on rainfall for the year, so a little torrential would not be bad. We have been having rain on most days, including one storm that showed up in the wee hours of the morning and gave us a full inch. Unfortunately that was the night the dog must have decided she needed to go out to pee but given the rain would not do it unescorted. So I lost quite a bit of sleep as a result; should have just got wet and got it over with. Was surprised to wake up to rain this morning; we got 0.5 inches.

Nice and warm here at 20C but my BIL who lives in Vic B's area is bitching. I told him it is a self inflicted wound.

Well, we got some "torrential" last week, over 5 inches, But with a predicted 20% chance of rain yesterday I figured that was over for a while. Got up to find we received 0.2 inches of rain last night.

Rain chances supposedly were low today. And I had just gotten a run in, followed by getting the mechanical work I most wanted done, went inside and took an inadvertent nap when a sudden storm gave us another 0.5 inch of rain. Hope it really is dry tomorrow; I need to do laundry.
