I hope any members in that area keep safe. Houses etc can be repaired and replaced - people can not always be repaired and cannot be replaced.

Louisville, KY, which is noted for 4 actual seasons, but relatively mild winters and long springs, and is trying to emulate Michigan. We've been below freezing for weeks. We've lived here for 15 years and this is the first year where winter resembles those back in our old place outside of Philadelphia. People around here don't like it very much… me included. Look at those icicles… like a scene from Dr. Zhivago. This was almost a week after the big snow came.

Apparently our near-balmy conditions are coming to a sudden and drastic end soon.... we'll be around -30C by Sunday. Can't wait .....actually, I can....
