This is an amazing Art Noveau building from the beginning of the 20th century. AFAIK the foyer and hall were damaged during a WWII bombing. Note that the busts over the 3 big windows and the figure on top are missing in the old photo. Maybe they were hidden during the war or maybe they are modern additions (last restoration is from 2001) - I don't know the story.
