Yes, that's the one. They tried to land it on a grass field. The nose gear collapsed. I think they ended up using the main gear on one off the prototypes. I would have to look it up again. I do remember reading something about that.
 
Good stuff there, Dogwalker. The stories of captured aircraft has always been an area of interest to me. I did a presentation at the museum "Captured Eagles" about the American aircraft captured and flown by the Luftwaffe. Apparently, I am not the only one to find the subject interesting. I had an audience of about 75.

Yeap it was a complete Hodgepodge, it used the nose landing gear of the B-24, the main landing gear of the Ju-352, the fuselage of a He-177 and the tail of a Ju-388.
